PlantBox was created to turn bland or uninteresting areas into lush and welcoming indoor and outdoor locations. More than just giving us the oxygen we need to survive, plants provide us a sense of quiet and serenity that is sorely absent in our contemporary life. People adore plants because they give us a sense of harmony with nature and a sense of connection to our surroundings. What could be more pleasant than being surrounded by luxuriant foliage, vibrant flowers, or a tasty harvest in a PlantBox vertical garden?  We are confident that you will adore our stackable and modular living wall system that is inexpensive, simple to instal, and equipped with self-contained irrigation. It is created in the UK from 100% recycled plastic and will survive for many years.

With a PlantBox vertical garden living wall system, you can grow a lot of plants in even the tiniest of areas. The planting troughs are only 15 cm deep, so they won't take up much room on your patio. They also let you plant 33 plants per square metre, making the most of your vertical surfaces. More plants will result in improved biodiversity and air quality, supporting habitats vital to pollinators like bumblebees.

Why not grow a gorgeous and simple to maintain living wall instead of having a boring kitchen, dull living room, unattractive fence, or a summer house that you would rather not sit in?

Benefits of a living wall

Health and Well-being

Compared to individuals who worked in an environment lacking natural characteristics, those who were around plants were 12% more productive and less anxious. In fact just a 15 minute walk through a forest has been shown to reduce levels of anger, depression and confusion. The performance and well-being of employees are directly impacted by workplace design.

Air Quality

Plants aren't just beautiful to look at. They have the incredible ability to filter carbon and other pollutants from the atmosphere. Even the soil itself is able to capture particulate from the atmosphere enhancing the micro climate in our indoor spaces.

Return on Investment

People are drawn to environments with natural features, as science has shown. On several retail projects, it was seen that living walls directly contributed to an increase in foot traffic, increasing the financial appeal of a vertical garden.

And when you improve the working environment for your employees you increase the productivity of the work force.

Biodiversity

Design of living walls can be tailored to bring significant biodiverse value with specific plant species, including native and pollinator plants. You can help support the local eco system and its inhabitants like birds and pollinating insects.

Carbon Off-setting

Reducing your carbon and hitting carbon neutral can be tricky which is why we use living walls to 'Off-set' your carbon. Living walls also help to achieve building standards such as BREEAM and WELL and can help towards planning and regulation requirments.
